Chelsea have set an asking price of €40 million (£34m/$47m) for Jackson while Mateta, whose contract expirees in 2026, would come for a lesser price.

Milan’s main target for the striker role still remains Juventus striker Vlahovic, who has a contract with the Old lady until 2026. Milan had exploratory talks for Atalanta striker Mateo Retegui and Bayer Leverkusen striker Victor Boniface but so far Milan have not advanced in negotiations for any of the targets.
There have been doubts over Gimenez’s future at the club but the player was quick to shut down any speculation, stating he was happy at Milan and was looking forward to next season.
With pre-season already underway, AC Milan are focused on strengthening the squad for new head coach Massimiliano Allegri, aiming to bounce back from last season’s disappointing eighth-place finish in Serie A by providing him with the best possible reinforcements.
